5th March 2024 - POW Spice up the Night!!

Tuesday 5th March 2024. We at The Prince of Wales Lodge are very fortunate in that we conduct a Lodge of Instruction almost every Tuesday evening in Stow.  We combine the evening expanding our knowledge in Freemasonry and then we enjoy a libation or two in our bar where we also take this opportunity to invite potential candidates to join us and meet the gang in a social surrounding, as well as cementing the fraternal bonds we already have among our Brethren. This provides a relaxed environment and allows us to show case our wonderful Lodge to those men who aspire to join our ranks. Our LOIs also present our newer members the opportunity to ask questions that, perhaps, in a more formal surrounding they would not be so inclined to do so.  Last Tuesday we had a lively debate about our Lodge Vision, Mission and how we as Ambassadors for Freemasonry should talk about our membership to family, friends and colleagues when the opportunity arises. Then we decided to SPICE things up by invading our local Indian restaurant (The Prince of India) in Stow post the LOI. And yes, it is not lost on us that The Prince of Wales met with The Prince of India in Stow on the Wold – Wither Directing your Course!! 20 members and 3 potential candidates enjoyed each others company by expressing our Mission - To be a fun Lodge that all men aspire to join!
