On a crisp evening in the heart of the Cotswolds, brethren from the Hilltop lodges - The Prince of Wales and Sudeley Castle - made their way to the other HillTop Lodge, Chipping Campden to witness a 3rd Degree ceremony. The historic market town, with its honey-coloured stone buildings and welcoming spirit, provided the perfect backdrop for an evening rich in tradition and fraternity.
The ceremony itself was conducted with great dignity, skill, and sincerity. Every part of the ritual was performed with precision, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the lodge officers. For visiting brethren, it was a privilege to witness such a fine working of the 3rd Degree—a moment that not only honors the candidate but also reminds all present of the deeper values Freemasonry seeks to uphold.
Equally important was the fellowship that followed. The festive board, as always, was full of warmth, laughter, and stories shared among old friends and new acquaintances alike. These moments remind us that beyond the ritual, it is the bonds of friendship and brotherhood that make our meetings so memorable.
Hilltop brethren extend heartfelt thanks to Chipping Campden Lodge for their hospitality and look forward to many more shared occasions in the true spirit of Freemasonry.
