On Saturday 22nd February 2025 The Prince of Wales Lodge hosted what we believe was our very first Quiz and Curry night - and what a night it was. With an impressive turnout of 42 guests, this inaugural event kicked off our 2025 fundraising efforts in style. Organised superbly by our Charity Steward W. Bro Alan B Page to support RIDE 25, the evening was led with laughter, camaraderie, and some friendly competition.
Our quizmaster for the night, the ever-entertaining W. Bro Brian Morris kept the energy high with his inventive quiz categories and his dodgy jokes, which had everyone groaning and giggling in equal measure.
The evening raised approximately £250 for RIDE 25 which will see members of the HillTop Lodges cycle to the Battle fields of northern France later this year to raise money for local charities. A heartfelt ‘thank you’ goes to Alan and to everyone who attended and contributed to making the night such fun and a success. Your support truly makes a difference.
Our Worshipful Master presented the prizes to the winning teams - Team Lynden with a hamper stuffed full of goodies. Lynden was ably supported by Ross and Keith and their partners - enjoy the goodies at your next house party!
And to Team Rachael with 6 bottles of wine. Don't worry Rachael, no-one noticed that this was the WMs team (no inside information was provided!!)
