Picture this: a glittering disco ball casting kaleidoscopic reflections across the room, a sea of sequins and boney Freemason Legs swaying to the rhythm, and a DJ spinning vinyl records that keep the energy electric. The dance floor becomes a stage, and every dancer is a star!
Members of The Prince of Wales Lodge and their partners, family and friends flocked to Stow on Friday 15th August for our Worshipful Masters DISCO - it was our chance to dance the night away and try and reenact some disco moves of old!! - Some more successful than others. The energy was palpable, the fashion was bold, and the music was the heartbeat of it all as we celebrated a fantastic year in the chair for W. Bro. Malcolm Wearing ably supported by Rachael.
Disco is a reminder to let go, to dance like nobody’s watching, and to celebrate the beauty of being alive. It invited us to shine, to connect, and to embrace the rhythm of life, to lift our spirits and get us moving. Last Friday saw us put on our dancing shoes, turn up the volume, and let the glittering groove of disco take us away!! After all, as Gloria Gaynor famously sang, "We will survive"
