On Wednesday 16th April E Comp Rob Dewbery accompanied E Comp Rob Nichols of Rathcreaden Chapter, Banbury to visit Enoch Chapter No XI to be held in Temple 5, Great Queen St, as guests of Comp Robin Hale, to see an excellent Double Exaltation Ceremony. With members coming from far and wide, the opportunity to have rehearsals was obviously limited, but nevertheless, the ceremony was carried out with traditional decorum. The MEZ was from Belgium and despite English not being his first language his grasp of the ritual was excellent, and 'our host' as Principal Sojourner, despite maintaining he was unable to learn ritual, put in a very polished performance.

Companion J also delivered the Symbolical Lecture in a fine and competent manner, and it became obvious from the comments of his fellow Companions, that this was the longest piece of ritual he had to deliver to date! Talking to him afterwards we were amazed to find that he had for a period of time been a member of Mercurius Lodge in Cheltenham - small world!
After the meeting we adjourned to the Double Tree Hilton for an excellent Festive Board, where the two new young Companions were welcomed with very encouraging speeches from their Proposer's that left little doubt that they were very 'keen' Brethren, and that they are part of the future of a very vibrant Chapter.
