13th December 2024. 'What is Christmas?' came the question, 'It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future and the best time of the year to have FUN!' retorted the answer!
Never mind that our December 2024 regular meeting was on Friday 13th, that certainly didn't dampen the Christmas Spirit as we raised Bro Lynden to the Third Degree. Our WM and his team conducted a magnificent ceremony with reverence, clarity, emotion and tremendous dignity - Very well done to all of the presenters and congratulations to Lynden on your raising.
The Festive Board was a raucous evening of Fun and Laughter, we sang Christmas Carols throughout the evening and the finale tested the Brethren's thigh muscles as the 12 Days of Christmas was song by our visitors, Lodge Officers, active Prov Officers and both the SW and JW tables at different intervals - GREAT FUN!
We hope that our Visitors had a wonderful time - it was great to see everyone immerse themselves into the POW experience and like Christmas, our festive board works like glue - It keeps us all sticking together. Merry Christmas!
