11th March 2023 - POW White Table evening

11th March 2023 - It was a cold winters night in Stow on the Wold when we held our White Table event.  We where delighted to welcome wives, partners, family and friends into our Lodge. Our aim was to give all our guests an insight into what it means to be a Freemason in general, and to convey what it means to the members of The Prince of Wales Lodge in particular.  We welcomed a strong contingent from Provincial Grand Lodge headed by W. Bro David Mason DPGM of the Province of Gloucestershire. Having met in our bar area for drinks we then moved into our Lodge room where we had organised some short illustrated talks in an effort to explain a little bit about our ritual, a bit about the history of Freemasonry in general, something about the origins of our Lodge, what it all costs, the importance we place on Charity and something about the place of women in Freemasonry.  Several of the members presented short talks accompanied by a power point presentation to add to the visual content.  Having completed the presentation we finished the evening with a splendid dinner.  So on behalf of the members of The Prince of Wales Lodge - THANK YOU for supporting our White Table event and we look forward to seeing you all again in the very near future.
