11th April 2024 - The Prince of Wales Lodge supporting local charities

11th April 2024 - Our hard working Charity Steward, W. Bro Alan Bridgen Page, has had another busy week delivering support on behalf of all of the membership of the Prince of Wales Lodge to two wonderful local charities.  On this occasion he delivered cheques to Cheltenham Open Door and to Cotswold riding for the disabled.

Cheltenham Open Door supports vulnerable, disadvantaged and lonely people through a variety of services. The team offer a welcoming, non-judgemental space where Guests can relax and enjoy food, friendship and access to advice and support.

Alan learned that the Cotswold Riding for the Disabled is more than a riding school. They are a community of staff, trustees, volunteers and ponies who come together to provide life-enhancing riding opportunities to people living with a disability.

Both Charities provide much needed support to our local community and we are proud to be able to assist them to continue with their important work.

That’s very nice of you Ian, I am privileged to have the opportunity to do this on behalf of our wonderful Prince of Wales Lodge No. 951 meeting at Stow-on-the -Wold. The great news is ‘we aren’t finished yet! Our support of Stow Primary School Breakfast club and the Little Princess Trust was particularly pleasing.
