BEING SOCIAL - BEYOND THE CRAFT

Freemasonry has an important role to play in engaging with members and their activities. This not only strengthens the bonds between members but is essential for improving mental health and wellbeing.

Your own personal hobby and interest is massively important to you, within Freemasonry you will find like-minded members and many have formed regional or national Lodges to make the most of their passion.

Below is Andy of the The Bikers Chapter No. 1380.

The Masonic Fishing Charity (above) Lodge of Opportunity No. 9777 aims to bring an interactive fishing and countryside experience to people with special needs. Combining a hobby with a great cause.

Other groups activities, include:

  • Sports - from football and rugby to diving
  • Motoring - single marque clubs to hill climbs
  • Social evening - skittles, darts and pool
  • Visits to places of interest, locally, nationally and internationally
  • Meals out or just a drink at the pub.

Whatever your interest, you are likely to find someone to share your passion with.
